They are all brown/sepia ink with a wash of watercolor.

Its not very often that I post something that isn't my own art. Why? because this is my art blog. Anyway I am going to be attending a school in Salt Lake City that will teach arts and architecture in a classical and traditional way. Everything from wash rendering to multi-figure painting. I did this drawing after Michelangelo. I used homemade charcoal on watercolor, toned paper. I may start selling these copies??? I am learning so much from Michelangelo!!!

This is the beginning and ending of a copy that I did of after Frederic Rodrigo Gruger. He would usually start with a light drawing, then wash, and wolff carbon pencil. I can't find anywhere that still sells a wolf pencil in the grades that he used. Bummer!!!
