Sculpting David's Eye at the Beaux-Arts Academy

I was just wanting to post something since it has been a long while.  I am copying David's eye in water clay.  It has been way fun.  The nose is the last feature that I get to sculpt.

Copy sculpture of Michelangelos' "David".  This is so much fun!!!  I rigged this setup to hang the sculpture on my wall.

Dragon in Super Sculpey

I was testing paint on Super Sculpey.  Kind of fun!!!!

Super Sculpey to the rescue!!!, Mayflower Ship

This is a mini sculpture that I have been working on.  The clay is various types of Super Sculpey (Firm, Beige/Original, and 50/50 mix).  I started this project with a different type of clay it was awful, like sculpting with taffy.  Super Sculpey works more like Plasteline.  I have been using Plasteline since I was a kid.  I love Plasteline.

Happy Halloween Sculpture

This was a sunset shinning through the window.  Kind of creepy but fun for Halloween.
